About Mother’s Day Messages
As a free service to the military community and in honor of our Military Moms, Stars and Stripes has created this platform for family and friends to send messages for Mother’s Day and/or to share their stories of what it’s like to be a Military Mom.
Print: Selected stories from Military Moms* as well as all Mother’s Day Messages received by May 3, 2012, at 8 a.m. EDT, will be included in the May 13, 2012, print edition of the location selected at the time of submission (Europe, Middle East or Pacific.)
Online: Mother’s Day Messages for U.S. recipients, stories not chosen for print, as well as all messages received after the May 3, 2012, print deadline will appear online only. We will accept online-only messages and stories until May 11, 2012.
*Stories may be featured in print editions of Stars and Stripes at the discretion of Stars and Stripes and their authors will be contacted prior to publishing.
